Prestatyn stand-up fans can breathe a brief sigh of relief - before being left breathless with laughter - as Comedy Central returns this month.

After a two month hiatus, comedy at the CookHouse Carvery will return with a one-two punch in the shape of effortless funnymen Thomas Green and headliner Steve Shanyaski.

Steve has rapidly established himself throughout the UK as a top choice for all of the major comedy venues and promoters, including the Comedy Store, CSE, Glee Club, and Jongleurs.

His whirlwind performances and thrilling routines have constantly proven a hit with even the

quietest crowds. The key to his act being his energy and silliness.

He has performed his comedy throughout the world to audiences as diverse as bikers in a field, to royalty in a theatre, and never ceases to go down a storm.

Support comes from Aussie stand up Thomas Green, who since settling on these shores has established himself on the circuit for the elasticity of his facial expressions, a unique story-telling style and a highly energetic stage presence.

Overseeing the evening's hilarity will be Liverpudlian compère Ste Porter, comedian and resident MC at Liverpool’s Slug and Lettuce and The Slaughterhouse, returning to the venue with his affable delivery and quick wit after a successful stint in Prestatyn in July .

CookHouse Carvery’s comedy continues on Friday, September 28 at 9pm.

Tickets are £10, or £20 with a two-course pre-show meal at 7.30pm. They can be booked by going online at liverpoolcomedycentral. co.uk or by calling 0845 0132257.
