Harry Styles will be taking on the role of Mick Jagger in a new film, if rumours are to be believed.

The One Direction star is being touted as the lead for a movie about the Rolling Stones’ 1972 double album Exile on Main St.

The album was recorded in a makeshift studio in the basement of Keith Richards’ rented home in the South of France, after the band left Britain to escape Labour’s high tax rate.

Mick was nearly 30 at the time, while Harry is just 22, but their clear resemblance is all that matters.

A source told the Daily Star: “That hasn’t gone unnoticed. He’s about 10 years too young… but make-up and special effects can sort that out.”

Harry is making his Hollywood debut in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Dunkirk, also starring Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy.

Mick and Harry are reportedly close friends, so who better to take on the role?
