It’s the biggest night of the year for the British Academy Of Film And Television Arts (Baftas).

Some of Hollywood’s finest have descended on London for the prestigious event at the Royal Opera House, hosted by Stephen Fry.

But before the ceremony, there’s the social media.

Nominated for best supporting actor for his work in Spotlight, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo has given fans an insight into his preparation with some posts on Instagram.

One features his wife Sunrise Coigney sat by a window in her dressing gown. “Getting Bafta luscious” reads the text.

In another, the star’s looking all dapper.

Here, we see the glamorous couple heading to the venue. “On the way to #BAFTA awards! Thank you UK for being so welcoming,” Mark wrote.

Mark is up against Britain’s Idris Elba who has been nominated for his work in Beasts Of No Nation.

But the Luther star had football on his mind. He’s an Arsenal fan and the Gunners were playing Leicester.

They won 2-1 and that made Idris happy. As if you couldn’t tell!

In a video message, the acclaimed actor said: “All we have to do tonight is win at the Baftas and it’s a double for the Arsenal.”

Fry, a prolific user of social media, tweeted from the venue itself.

It’s not raining so the Baftas has already won. Lights, camera, action!
