Pippa Middleton was a picture of elegance as she turned up to support the British Heart Foundation’s fundraising ball.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister wore a chic monochrome dress by designer Tabitha Webb – but didn’t forget to wear a bit of red with a heart-shaped clutch bag and crimson heels to get into the spirit of the Roll Out The Red ball.

An ambassador for the charity, Pippa made a speech at the event, at The Savoy, London, about why she feels so passionate about the organisation.

The 32-year-old talked of her friend Miles Frost (Sir David Frost’s son) who died suddenly of a cardiac arrest.

Miles was jogging in July last year when he collapsed due to a hidden heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which he had no idea he suffered from.

Huge Grant was there to support the fundraising event too, looking dapper in a tux.

Alesha Dixon performed – and gave a nod to the dress code with burgundy boots.

Meanwhile Towie’s Jessica Wright took the theme to extremes with a dramatic floor length red lace gown and matching clutch.

Live music, food and champagne were aplenty at the ball hosted by newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, with a charity auction headed up by Lord Geoffrey Archer.
