The broadcaster will also be putting on a special episode of First Dates, as well as special editions of Alan Carr: Chatty Man and The Last Leg.

It is rumoured that Celebrity First Dates could feature presenter Anthea Turner as plenty of famous faces go on real blind dates for the show.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 55-year-old, who is currently single after splitting from husband Grant Bovey in 2013, has signed up for the show in a bid to find love.

But she said she will have to “protect my heart” to stop herself from getting hurt.

Former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is also on the show, according to the Mirror. She confessed that her personal life had suffered since she won the talent contest.

“I auditioned for the show at 19, won at 20. I’m 27 now and I haven’t stopped. I would definitely say my love life has suffered because of it and to be honest that’s why my childhood sweetheart and I broke up,” she explained.

She said that now was the “right time” to try to find a partner: “It’d be nice to be able to share my life with someone else. If I could close my eyes and picture my ideal man, I think he’d have to look like The Rock.”

In 2014, the Stand Up to Cancer live event – hosted by Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Dr Christian Jessen – raised more than £15.5 million for Cancer Research UK.

Claire Rowney, director of Stand Up To Cancer, said: “We’ve made amazing progress against cancer in the past few decades but one in two of us in the UK will develop cancer in our lifetime so we can’t afford to stand still.

“Our partnership with Channel 4 has seen us raise more than £23.8 million so far which will have a huge impact on our aim to beat cancer sooner.”

Gogglebox: Stand Up To Cancer airs on Friday, October 9 at 9pm on Channel 4. Celebrity First Dates airs on Monday, October 12 at 9pm.
