Disney’s new animation Zootopia has been given a new title for its UK release.
The computer-animated comedy-drama, featuring the voice of Jason Bateman, will be known as Zootropolis in the UK.
A Disney spokesman explained: “In the UK we decided to change the US title (Zootopia) to Zootropolis to merely allow the film to have a unique title that works for UK audiences.”
Zootropolis, written by Jared Bush and directed by Bryon Howard and Rich Moore, stars Jason as fast-talking, scam artist fox Nick Wilde, who partners with a new officer to solve a case.
The film will open in UK cinemas on March 25, 2016.
