Lance Bass has told how he had a “magical night” as he tied the knot with long-time love Michael Turchin.

The former NSYNC star exchanged vows with his boyfriend of four years at the lavish Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles at the weekend, in front of 300 people including his former bandmates JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick.

However, touring commitments kept Justin Timberlake from the ceremony.

The couple – who designed their own wedding bands – wore black tuxes for the ceremony but changed into velvet ones afterwards.

“We love fashion, so it was really fun to design those,” Lance, 35, told People.

The ceremony was officiated by the couple’s good friends, actresses JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

Lance said: “You could easily go to a preacher, a pastor or a rabbi, but I don’t like that because you don’t really know them. You have a stranger in charge of the most important day of your life. We loved the idea of using someone who knows us.”

Guests enjoyed speciality moonshine cocktails, ice cream and a decadent seven-tier wedding cake.

Before the nuptials Lance told of his happiness that he would be tying the knot with Michael.
