David Guetta has claimed his fifth UK number one single with Lovers On The Sun featuring US singer-songwriter Sam Martin.

Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro top the album chart with their debut release Stars, putting an end to Ed Sheeran's eight-week reign at the top.

Meanwhile Sir Cliff Richard's 1992 hit I Still Believe In You re-entered the charts at 57 after fans backed a social media campaign in support of the star following a sex abuse allegation.

French DJ and producer David said he was delighted with his latest chart success.

He told the Official Charts Company: " Wow, this is amazing! The UK has shown me so much love and support over the years, since I was an unknown DJ there. To be number one with the first song off my next album is taking a little bit of the pressure off finishing it, which is what I'm doing now."

The star scored his first number one as a lead artist back in 2008 with When Love Takes Over, and has since topped the charts with Sexy Bitch (2009), Gettin' Over You (2010) and Titanium (2012).

He also helped to create further chart-toppers as a guest on Flo Rida's Club Can't Handle Me (2010) and a producer on the Black Eyed Peas hit I Gotta Feeling (2009).

He has sold nine million singles in the UK.

Am I Wrong by Norwegian duo Nico and Vinz fell to number two, while Rude by Canadian band Magic! dropped one place to number three.

US singer-songwriter Taylor Swift's latest release Shake It Off entered the charts at number four following its surprise release on Monday, while German house DJ Wankelmut and Emma Louise climbed a massive 185 places to number five with My Head Is A Jungle.

Musical theatre five-piece Collabro paid tribute to their fans after Stars knocked Ed Sheeran's X into second spot in the album chart.

The group said: " Seven months ago we didn't know each other and just three months ago we were still in our day jobs, so our lives have been flipped upside down and now we have an album out on an amazing record label! We are so grateful for the whole experience and to our fans for getting us here."

Manchester band The Courteeners secured their highest charting album to date with Concrete Love entering at number three.

Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour fell two places to four, while George Ezra climbed a place to complete the top five with Wanted On Voyage.
