Joey Essex has been recruited to talk to young people on the value of hard work.
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star, who sprung to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, will give the talk on employment in Sunderland, the Daily Mirror reported.
It says that the reality star will deliver a speech about his own career, and how he got famous, to teenagers aged between 16 and 18.
Organisers of the event say that, despite not having any higher education qualifications, Joey has shown that with hard work and dedication it's possible to succeed.
Councillor Malcolm Graham, Gateshead's cabinet member for employment and skills, was reported as saying: "We're grateful to have Joey Essex who will be able to speak from experience how you don't necessarily need great academic qualifications to succeed, just hard work and commitment."
Joey, who famously admitted on I'm A Celebrity... that he could not tell the time, has recently enjoyed success with ITV2 show Educating Joey Essex.
