Nicole Scherzinger has revealed she is already planning her outfit for the X Factor final at Christmas.

The former Pussycat Doll and mentor wants to make sure she dazzles like a fairy on top of a Christmas tree for the final show.

Nicole said: "It's Christmas right? So you think of sparkles and the Christmas colours like white, red, gold, silver, you just think of Sch-amazing!

"So I'm working on that now actually. It's a month in advance and I'm thinking about saving pieces for Christmas - I want it to be REALLY sparkly!"

The X Factor judge, who is an ambassador for the Special Olympics has recorded O Holy Night for a A Very Special Christmas to help raise awareness for the Special Olympics.

Nicole revealed: "I recorded the song here in London and I'm really thrilled about how it came out because it's for a good cause and it's my favourite Christmas song."

The singer revealed she feels she has become an adopted Brit now and is embracing the cold British weather.

She said; "It does feel more Christmasy. I grew up in the South where I'm used to seasons, and then when I moved to California I missed the seasons, I missed the changes of the leaves and the autumn.

"And last year around this time it was snowing, so I feel like I'm a Brit at heart now and y'all have adopted me. And we had a beautiful summer, it's rare to have beautiful sunsets and the sun still shining in November, I love it."
