Anne-Marie Duff felt "good karma" starring in 'Shameless' again.

The 42-year-old star - who met her husband James McAvoy on the show - reprises her role of Fiona Gallagher on the last ever episode of the Channel 4 drama tonight, and the blonde beauty felt like "nothing had changed" when she returned to the fictional Chatsworth estate.

She said: "It felt like good karma to come back and be here at the very end. 'Shameless' was a good time in my life, and I wouldn't have done a lot of the work I've done since without it, so I have a lot to be thankful for.

"It felt as if everything had been kept in jelly - nothing had changed!

"I think that was partly to do with the fact that the final episode is all about family and the Gallaghers."

The 'Shameless' finale sees Fiona return to Chatsworth see if her father Frank Gallagher (David Threlfall) and mother Monica Gallagher (Annabelle Apsion) are still neglecting their kids, and Anne-Marie revealed there are still "unresolved issues" within the family.

She added to Inside Soap magazine: "Fiona is very happy and very fulfilled. But you still have the sense she has a lot of unresolved issues to do with family, particularly her mother."

The last ever 'Shameless' episode airs at 10pm on Channel 4 tonight.
