Big Brother's Becky avoids eviction

Big Brother newcomer Becky Hannon is immune from the chop this week after passing a favourite housemate task.

The actress - who was voted in by viewers after Victoria Eisermann's exit on Friday - had to get at least one person to name her as their top contestant in order to avoid being up for eviction.

Becky is now safe after housemate Deana Uppal, the reigning Miss India UK, said she was her favourite.

Outgoing Becky is 6/1 joint favourite to win the Channel 5 show with chef Luke Anderson. Meanwhile, Shievonne Robinson and Adam Kelly, who clocked up a number of votes between them, have had their odds to win the show cut to 7/1 and 8/1 respectively.

Housemates have also begun chatting openly about nominations this week after Big Brother allowed them to discuss who they wanted to evict.
