Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that her sister Kim is still struggling to deal with the gunpoint robbery in Paris.

Speaking on the Today Extra programme in Australia, she said that the family are still very shaken by the event, but will support each other through it.

The TV personality told hosts David Campbell and Sonia Kruger: “She isn’t doing great. I think we are all really still shaken up and I just think…she has a big, supportive family and I know that, like all the traumatic things we’ve been through, we get through them together as a family, and that’s what family’s all about.”

But she hesitated to say much more on the subject – apparently “blanking” David.

On October 3, armed robbers forced their way into Kim’s hotel room, tied her up and locked her in a bathroom before making off with more than 10 million dollars (£8 million) of jewellery.

Khloe Kardashian recently described the event as “an incredibly traumatic experience for Kim and she’s definitely taking some well needed and much deserved time off”.

Since it happened, Kim has stepped back from her usually very public lifestyle, making no Twitter posts since October 2.

As well as cancelling some scheduled appearances, she has said that celebrations for her 36th birthday (on Friday) will only be a low-key, intimate affair for friends and family.
