Returning X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has confirmed she will perform during the new series of the ITV programme.
She said: “I’m definitely going to perform on the show. I can’t wait. I’m in the lab cooking something up right now. You’re going to get something new from me.”
The US singer and former Pussycat Dolls star revealed she is looking forward to the live shows because “anything can happen”.
She added: “It’s such an amazing energy from the audience. I love watching our contestants perform, that’s what gives me Sch-life.
“I’m an adrenalin junkie and that’s just the ultimate adrenalin rush. If you f***-up, you f***-up for all the world. That’s a rush.”
Nicole also joked that she made lead judge Simon Cowell “sell his soul to the devil” in order to tempt her back to the panel.
This will be her first time appearing as a full-time judge on The X Factor UK along with Cowell, who she claimed has “softened up” since becoming a father to his son Eric in February 2014.
She acted as a guest judge alongside Simon, Louis and former judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in 2010, and was partly responsible for the formation of boy band One Direction.
Nicole said of Simon: “I feel like his critiques are very honest, very Simon, no nonsense. He won’t beat around the bush, he’ll get straight to it.
“But at the same time he feels people. He’s quite sensitive, he knows how to handle certain people.”
