Sarah Harding is to dazzle viewers with her outfit on the latest edition of BBC gymnastic contest Tumble - with 200 fairy lights sewn into her leotard.

The ex-Girls Aloud star will illuminate the show with her LED costume - which also features a number of cut-out panels - while performing an acrobatic floor routine with her show partner Leon Fagbemi.

The programme-makers turned to a US firm which has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue and Pet Shop Boys to create the glowing, skimpy outfit.

A show insider said: " Sarah is so excited about her costume as it is reminding her of the good old days with Cheryl and the girls when they were on tour. She wants to give the fans what they want - glamour and a whole lot of razzmatazz. "

The second edition of the programme, which is shown at 6.30pm on BBC One tomorrow (August 16), will see the first contestant eliminated.

All the celebrities - who include boxer Carl Froch, Lucy Mecklenburgh, who found fame in The Only Way Is Essex, and Andrea McLean from Loose Women - remained in the competition after last week's debut edition.

Lucy - who is propping up the leader board - and Andrea are joint favourites to be given the boot at 7/4, according to bookmaker William Hill.

Actor John Partridge - who drew the highest score from the judging panel, which include Louis Smith and Nadia Comaneci - is favourite to win the title at 13/8.

Another contestant Ian "H" Watkins, who found fame with the group Steps, has had to have his hands strapped up after hurting himself while practising his routine on the hoops. He will dress as a rock star for his performance on tomorrow's show, which will also include pyrotechnics.
