Kirsten Dunst has revealed she is in "baby mode" at the moment, hinting she might be ready to be a mum next year.

The Spider-Man actress told Red magazine that because she was in her 30s, questions about getting pregnant were being asked a lot more often.

According to E! News, the 32-year-old said: "Thirty-three is a good age to have your first baby."

She added: "I'm in baby mode because two of my really good friends are pregnant right now."

Talking about her work ethic, Kirsten said: "I'm not as worried as I used to be. When I was younger, if I wasn't working, I would get anxiety. I'd feel like I should be doing something. But now I'm so good at chilling out. In my thirties I've become really good friends with relaxing.

"I'm sure one day, if I have kids, the anxiety of life will come back again, because you're worried about somebody else."

Kirsten also said she had no 10 year plan, but that a lot of people were expecting her to settle down: "There could be wonderful things that happen, horrible things that happen. You don't know what's going to happen in the next 10 years.

"But I get asked that question a lot because I'm in my thirties and it's like: time to get married and have babies, right? That's the vibe. Well, I already have a mother to ask those questions, so nobody else needs to."

The actress is currently in London with her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, who is working in the city over the summer, as is her Two Faces Of January co-star Oscar Isaac, who is filming Star Wars Episode 7, and her friend Max Minghella.

Kirsten described them as "a funny little group that are spending summer together," adding: "I've told Oscar to get an apartment in our neighbourhood so we can all hang out together."
