Kelly Osbourne has returned to work on her show Fashion Police two weeks after collapsing on set.

The 28-year-old star was rushed to hospital in an ambulance after suffering a seizure during filming and was kept in for observation and tests while doctors investigate what happened.

This week Kelly tweeted: "SoHappy I just got the al clear from my doctor to go back to work tomorrow!!!!!"

Co-star Joan River tweeted a picture of Kelly sitting on her lap on the set of the E! show with their arms around each other.

Joan wrote: "Welcome back Kelly!!! THRILLED to have my darling @MissKellyO back on set at @e_FashionPolice."

E! Online reported Kelly won praise for her outfit, as her black and white striped top, trousers and matching loafers was a nod to the racing checkered flag, in honour of their guest, NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.

Jeff told Kelly: "We're thrilled to have you on the show. It wouldn't be the same for me and my wife [without you]."

"Well, I'm glad to be back!" Kelly exclaimed to rapturous applause.

Last week a representative for the star revealed she had been given "a clean bill of health by her doctor", after five days in hospital.

The statement added: "Doctors ran numerous tests and determined that this was most likely a one-time episode of which there are no conclusive results."
