John Bramwell
WEDNESDAY’S solo acoustic gig by I Am Kloot front man John Bramwell in Knaresborough is turning out to be the fastest-selling show mounted by Kula Productions.
This “Intimate Evening” with Bramwell will be the Hyde songwriter’s first ever visit to the North Yorkshire market town, where he will complement I Am Kloot material with new songs from his soon-to-be-released album.
I Am Kloot issued their first album, Natural History, in March 2001 and struck gold nine years later when their fifth studio set, Sky At Night, entered the charts at number 24 en route to a Mercury Music Prize nomination.
In between came 2003’s I Am Kloot, 2005’s I Am Kloot Play Moolah Rouge, 2006’s Gods And Monsters and 2009’s B, a collection of B-sides and rarities.
Tickets are on sale at Pear Records, Knaresborough, Rock Steady Music, Harrogate, and Jumbo Records, Leeds.
