BRIT Floyd return to the York Barbican on Monday night, this time with their new Pink Floyd tribute show, A Foot In The Door.
Especially created by Brit Floyd musical director Damian Darlington to mark the release of Pink Floyd’s A Foot In The Door career compendium, the performance will replicate that CD compilation by including all of Pink Floyd’s best work in its entirety – track by track – as selected by Pink Floyd’s band members.
As a bonus, and back by popular demand, Brit Floyd’s 8pm concert also will accommodate a full, 23-minute rendition of Echoes, taken from the 1971 album Meddle.
Brit Floyd first played the York Barbican last July and their new show will once more feature Floydian animation and state-of-the art sound and lights to accompany such songs as Hey You, See Emily Play, Another Brick In The Wall Pt2, Wish You Were Here, Time, Money, Comfortably Numb and Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
Tickets are on sale at £27.50 on 0844 854 3757, online at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person from the Barbican box office, open from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. You will receive a two-hour Brit Floyd promo DVD with every ticket bought.
