Stevie ZeSuicide to film single's video

YORK punk rock stalwart Stevie ZeSuicide has headed to Brighton this weekend to film the promotional video for his new single, Wild Trash.

He arrived on the south coast last night to begin work today with bass player Trevor Bolder and film director Pasha du Valentine at Godamn Media Film Studios.

“Pasha is an avant-garde director, who’s a good friend of mine in the industry from the old days when I worked for a company called MGMM,” said Stevie, alias Steve Roberts, former drummer in the punk band UK Subs.

Wild Trash was released this week on the new label Noize Revolution Records and is available from iTunes, Amazon, Nokia, 7digital, e-music, tunetribe, WE7 and Groovshark and will be in stores by springtime.

The single was co-written and produced by Bolder, bass player in David Bowie’s Spiders From Mars, and its release will be followed by a series of shows in theatres this summer, starting in Brighton.

Dates and venues are yet to be confirmed but Stevie already has secured the services of York sound engineer Richard Pallester, of UK Entertainment.

“The Noize Revolution shows will be very different with some diverse acts, including comedians and jugglers, and of course the Punk King of Noize, Stevie ZeSuicide,” said Stevie.

Further singles will follow, along with a long-promised album, whose title has been changed by Stevie from Hellraiza to Wild Trash.
