Young musicians in York have a new platform for showing off their musical talents.
The first concert in the Young Musicians Community Concert Series took place on Friday in St Clements Hall, where children from local primary and secondary schools showed off their musical talents to a packed out hall.
The concert included many sololists and duos, and also the String Orchestra and Junior Guitar Circle from York’s Arts Academy.
Concert organiser Sarah Loughran said: “Young children deserve to be applauded for all the effort they put into learning music, and bringing the community together.”
