MIKE + The Mechanics will be Looking Back Over My Shoulder on their 34-date tour next year, visiting York Barbican on March 19.

Genesis founding member and guitarist Mike Rutherford will be joined by two vocalists, R&B singer Andrew Roachford and Canadian-born Tim Howar, from the band Vantramp.

In the wake of The Mechanics' sold-out North American tour, they will combine songs from 2017's Let Me Fly album with their familiar hits on the Looking Back Over My Shoulder tour next February to April. Their American chart topper The Living Years is sure to be aired, along with Silent Running, All I Need Is A Miracle, Word Of Mouth, Another Cup Of Coffee and Over My Shoulder.

Rutherford and co last played York Barbican in February 2017, having previously performed there in April 2015 and at the Grand Opera House in May 2011. This time, they have booked one other Yorkshire gig too at Sheffield City Hall on March 16, with seats on sale at ticketline.co.uk.

Tickets for the 7.30pm York gig are available at yorkbarbican.co.uk, on 0844 854 2757 or in person from the Barbican box office.
