MONEY For Nothing bring their Dire Straits tribute show to the Grand Opera House, York, on April 12, led by guitarist and Mark Knopfler sound-alike Aled Williams.
Formed in 2000, Williams and his band of experienced musicians perform all the hits, from 1978 debut single Sultans Of Swing to 1992 swansong The Bug, via such favourites as Romeo And Juliet, Skateaway, Tunnel Of Love, Private Investigations, Twisting By The Pool, So Far Away, Money For Nothing, Brothers In Arms, Walk Of Life, Your Latest Trick and Calling Elvis.
Money For Nothing also feature versions from On The Night and Live At The BBC in a show that has played music festivals, theatres and nightclubs and brought the band the headline spot at Europe's Biggest Tribute Festival, support slots on Roy Wood dates and an Indian tour in 2011.
