AMERICAN country star Kacey Musgraves will follow up the March 30 arrival of her fourth album, Golden Hour, with an autumn tour. York Barbican on October 24 will be her only Yorkshire show.
Musgraves announced the Oh, What A World: Tour when headlining the C2C: Country To Country Festival at the London O2 Arena earlier this month, broadcast live by BBC 2 Radio.
She co-wrote and co-produced Golden Hour with Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian. "I had a different mindset this time, which was feeling rather than thinking, leading heart first," says Kacey, whose most intimate album to date will be released on MCA Nashville/Decca. Among the tracks will be the melancholic Space Cowboy and the uplifting, dreamy Butterflies.
Tickets for October 24 are on sale at £44.79, £36.95 and £31.35 on 0844 854 2757, at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person from the Barbican box office.
