CERTAINLY considered one of the hottest new names and the one to watch in 2018, Camila Cabello is already a veteran performer.

The Havana vocalist was a member of Fifth Harmony, who came to prominence on the American version of X Factor in 2012, ultimately coming a very respectable third.

A handful of singles later, it was obvious that Ms Cabello was the star of the act, so in the age-old tradition, pressures dictate that Camila should venture out as a solo artist for international fame.

Cabello is very well connected. She has remained close to her mentor, Simon Cowell, who in turn has introduced her to Mr LA Reid and Frank Dukes, both grand masters of the pop world.

Dukes has assembled a very radio-friendly selection of Latin dance floor tracks, liberally mixed with instantly enjoyable ballads. Havana featuring Young Thug is already a huge international hit. Never Be The Same, actually the lead single, is destined to become a far bigger hit second time around.

Camila’s catalogue has been chosen with care by experienced individuals who know how to tap into a huge audience. Young girls will love the pretty, infectious songs and guys will simply fall in love with Camila. This girl has cover girl looks; Hollywood will beckon.

It’s an easy prediction to envisage Camila Cabello as one of the biggest global stars of the new year.
