JACK Savoretti, who played a low-key gig at Fibbers in York on July 16, will release a special edition of his Sleep No More album next month.

The two-disc re-launch on September 8 on BMG will include a bonus disc of acoustic and live versions of Savoretti tracks past and present plus his new single, Whiskey Tango. Penned by the London singer-songwriter and produced by Cam Blackwood, who has worked with George Ezra and London Grammar, this late-summer anthem with the bouncing bassline and irresistible hook will be out on September 15.

Sleep No More already has sold around 100,000 copies, bolstered by its radio hits When We Were Lovers, We Are Bound, Only You and the title track.

The new Live And Acoustic extra disc comprises Whiskey Tango; live versions of Soldiers Eyes, Breaking The Rules, Home, Other Side Of Love and Tie Me Down; acoustic versions of When We Were Lovers, Deep Waters, Start Living In The Moment, Only You and I’m Yours and a closing demo of Whiskey Tango.

Savoretti is to play to 200,000 people this autumn as the special guest on John Legend's 24-date British and European arena tour, including Leeds First Direct Arena on September 15.
