REUNITED girl band All Saints will be entertaining the crowd at York Racecourse immediately after Saturday afternoon's race meeting Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis and Natalie and Nicole Appleton, one of the most successful pop groups of the 1990s, will be headlining Music Showcase Saturday on the weekend when pop star Jess Glynne will play the Knavesmire stage post-racing tomorrow evening.

Formed in London in 1993, the Anglo-Canadian All Saints enjoyed two multi-platinum albums and record sales in more than 12 million worldwide. Their 1997 debut album, All Saints, went platinum five times over and elicited three number one singles: the double BRIT Award-winning Never Ever, Under The Bridge and Bootie Call.

Further albums followed with Saints And Sinners in 2000 and Studio 1 in 2006, and Blatt, Lewis and the Appletons returned last year after a decade-long hiatus with the comeback album Red Flag and are now performing live once more.

"We’re loving being back in front of an audience and we’ve been told that the big crowd at York’s Music Showcase create a great atmosphere, so we can’t wait to share a special summer day with them," say All Saints.

Earlier in the day, the Sky Bet York Stakes will be the £120,000 centrepiece of a seven-race card that starts at 2.05pm. Tickets for the race day, including the All Saints concert after the 5.35pm last race, are on sale at yorkracecourse.co.uk or on 01904 620911.
