AMERICAN folk-rock guitarist, singer and songwriter Ryley Walker brings his full Chicago band to Pocklington Arts Centre on Saturday night.

Walker, who plays his guitar like Bert Jansch and sings like Tim Buckley, with jazz flourishes for good measure, will be airing songs from his third album, Golden Sings That Have Been Sung.

Walker has become a regular visitor to Yorkshire terrain, playing at The Band Room, Low Mill, Farndale, on the North York Moors, and The Crescent Community Venue in York in the past few years.

Tickets for Saturday's 8pm gig cost £13 at pocklingtonartscentre.co.uk or on 01759 301547.
