POPPLETON Methodist Church has held a fundraising Winter Warmer Concert in aid of the church's outreach project, Ruach & Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The December 9 event marked the concert debut of Gaudete, a duo formed by Sylvie-D & Joshua Kohlmann, who performed their own music and classics as solos, duets and in a trio with guest guitarist Faried Osman.
Gaudete played 25 songs, mainly light hearted and fun, enhanced by slides that set the mood when projected behind the performers, and the stage was sumptuously decorated.
