SIR Cliff Richard will play Harewood House, near Leeds, on June 28 and Scarborough Open Air Theatre the following night on his Just...Fabulous Rock'n'Roll Tour next summer.

The tour will be "a series of fully seated outdoor concerts in intimate arenas built especially for Sir Cliff And his fans". Tickets will go on sale on November 14 at livenation.co.uk, on the back of this Friday's release of his new album on Sony Music, his 102nd album no less.

Also entitled Just...Fabulous Rock'n'Roll, the record marks 76-year-old Sir Cliff returning to his roots to record favourite songs from rock'n'roll's golden era, such as Roll Over Beethoven, Sweet Little Sixteen and his August 1958 debut single, Move It, the first British rock'n'roll hit. The opening track unites Sir Cliff with the recorded voice of his fellow rock'n'roll idol, the late Elvis Presley, on Blue Suede Shoes in a duet that fulfils a career-long dream.

"Not only do I find it hard to believe that my career has spanned this length of time, but also that I still get the chance to do the thing I love best, and that is to get into a studio!" says Sir Cliff. "My new album is another dip into an incredible period of our musical history. A happy, creative and in many ways an innocent time. I will always love this music, but more importantly I hope you do too. Rock on."

The new album follows the nostalgic path taken by Sir Cliff's two previous releases: 2015's 75 At 75 and 2013's The Fabulous Rock'n'Roll ' Songbook. Next year's accompanying tour will take in ten shows from June 17 to July 2. Full details can be found at cliffrichard.org
