LONDON chamber choir The Arcubus Ensemble will perform choral music by young composers Russell Hepplewhite, Alex Patterson and Thomas Hewitt Jones alongside pieces by York composers Dr Francis Jackson, Andrew Carter and Dr Philip Moore at Helmsley Arts Centre on July 2.
The choir present a regular series of recitals at St Mary-le-Bow in London, complemented by festival and concert performances throughout Britain, and their Helmsley debut will be introduced by Ryedale actor Dominic Goodwin.
He and his wife Rosemary are the owners of Banks Music Publications, who publish all the music to be sung in the 7.30pm concert. Tickets cost £12, under 18s £6, on 01439 771700 or at helmsleyarts.co.uk
