FOLK rock luminaries Fairport Convention will play the Grand Opera House, York, on March 1. The Press has three pairs of tickets to be won for the 7.30pm concert and the first prize winner also will receive a signed Fairport Convention album.
Each year starts with Fairport covering the length and breadth of Britain on their winter tour, followed by a more relaxed spring tour, and then attention turns to the band's annual staging of the Cropredy Convention festival in Oxfordshire in August.
