ROD Stewart will play Leeds First Direct Arena on December 6 on his From Gasoline Alley To Another Country Hits 2016 tour. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am at firstdirectarena.com
Stewart, now 71, will perform his biggest hits from 1970 to 2016, taking in his latest album, Another Country, which entered the charts at number two last October.
The show is expected to feature such Stewart favourites as You Wear It Well, Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Baby Jane, The First Cut Is The Deepest, I Don’t Want To Talk About It, Tonight’s The Night, The Killing Of Georgie and Sailing.
There will be selections too from the platinum-selling Time, the 2013 album of Stewart originals – after his long run of American Songbook albums – that prompted him to record in the same manner on Another Country.
Stewart last played Leeds Arena in September 2013 when promoting Time.
