FOR one night only – one very long night only – City Screen, York, will present the five-hour satellite broadcast of Fare Thee Well: 50 Years Of Grateful Dead, the last time ever the legendary American band will play together, on Monday at 6.30pm.
This once-in-a-lifetime reunion will be captured live at Soldier Field in Chicago the night before broadcast, nearly 20 years to the day since the last Grateful Dead concert with Jerry Garcia, who died in 1995.
The four original members, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, will be joined by guitarist Trey Anastasio, of Phish and the Trey Anastasio Band, keyboards player Jeff Chimenti, from RatDog, The Dead and Furthur, and Grammy Award-winning keyboardist Bruce Hornsby.
Tickets can be booked on 0871 902 5726 or at picturehouses.com/cinema/York
