EDITORS are to play Leeds O2 Academy on October 17 on their autumn tour in support of their as-yet-unnamed fifth studio album.

Tracks are being finalised for the record, the first to be produced by the Stafford band, with Alan Moulder on mixing duties, from recording sessions in the remote Western Highlands of Scotland.

The first new track to emerge, No Harm, was initially hidden away on a Play It Again Sam compilation, but a sharp-eared fan was quick to share it with the world, and now it is available to download for free via the band’s website, editorsofficial.com

Editors’ last album, 2013's The Weight Of Your Love, gave them their fourth consecutive Top Ten entry, in the wake of two number ones, 2009's In This Light And On This Evening and 2007's An End Has A Start, and their 2005 debut, The Back Room.

The Weight Of Your Love took Editors to four continents to play more than 100 venues and festivals, including their first ever shows in Africa, and their album sales stand at more than two million across the world.
