FOUR of the most exciting bands around in the UK will be performing at Scarborough Open Air Theatre this summer.

McBusted will return to the venue on Saturday, July 18, following a sell-out performance last year.

The band's 2014 tour became the UK’s largest arena tour of the year, which played to 350,000 people across 35 sold-out arenas, culminating in a headline performance at Hyde Park to 60,000 people.

At the end of last year the six-piece supergroup released a superb debut album and hit single ‘Air Guitar’ and they’re currently part way through another massive UK arena tour.

Scouting for Girls, Only The Young and The Hoosiers will be appearing at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Sunday, August 30 Over the course of three Top 10 albums, Scouting For Girls have made the journey from playing local pubs to headlining Wembley Arena.

Their first album ‘Everybody Wants To Be On TV’ soared into the British top two, ‘This Ain’t A Love Song’ gave them their first number one single and 2011’s ‘The Light Between Us’ made it three out of three Top 10 albums as Scouting For Girls evolved into a national institution.

Talented four-piece, Only The Young, first saw huge exposure on The X Factor. They bring an acoustically-driven set teamed with high energy crowd pleasers.

Last year saw them perform at the renowned Capital FM Summer Time Ball alongside Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams, secure a coveted slot at British Summer Time with McBusted and work on their first album, which will be released this year.

The Hoosiers reached number five in the UK singles chart with their very first single, ‘Worried About Ray’ in 2007. Later that year, their debut album, ‘The Trick to Life’ topped the UK album charts. Their most recent album was last year’s ‘The News from Nowhere’.

Tickets for the performance, priced at £25, are available from Scarborough Open Air Theatre box office on 01723 818111 or go to www.scarboroughspa.co.uk
