JORVIK Gilbert and Sullivan Company is seeking a committed and enthusiastic director for its fully staged autumn production of The Sorcerer in York.
Rehearsals will start in April for the September run at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre. These will be held on Monday evenings at 7.30pm at Huntington Methodist Church.
“The company operates a policy of no auditions for the chorus and is fully inclusive to anybody who wishes to sing and perform on stage,” says publicity officer Alex Schofield. “If you would like to work with a talented and committed group, to bring your ideas to life, we would love to hear from you.”
The director’s post is voluntary and the successful candidate will work alongside musical director Matthew Collins. In addition, Jorvik G&S is welcoming new performing members to join the company for The Sorcerer More information on the company can be found at jorvikgsc.org.uk
