Lez Zeppelin, the first female Led Zeppelin tribute act
FOR those sceptics who still dare to ask “Can four women pull off the exuberant, powerful and musically intricate performances for which Led Zeppelin are known”, here come Lez Zeppelin. All women, all Zeppelin, they swap New York for York on Wednesday to play Fibbers in Toft Green at 8pm.
In June 2013, Jimmy Page attended their London show in London and said: “They played the Led Zeppelin music with an extraordinary sensuality and an energy and passion that highlighted their superb musicianship.”
Led by guitarist Steph Paynes, the first female Led Zep tribute act are celebrating their tenth anniversary on their latest tour.
