AMERICAN singer-songwriter Brett Dennen will play British shows for the first time since 2007 when he supports Paloma Faith on her autumn tour, including her sold-out date at York Barbican on November 1.
Dennen is signed to Atlantic Records and is five albums into a career built around his guitar playing, a hybrid of finger picking and soul-inspired rhythm with shades of The Band's Robbie Robertson and Ry Cooder, lyrics that hark back to Jimmie Rodgers, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan and a voice that recalls Paul Simon at his sunniest.
