PLEASE Please You promoter Joe Coates will present Catskill Mountain songwriter Simone Felice at The Basement, City Screen, York, on November 26.
This will be one of 15 intimate acoustic dates where singer, guitarist and drummer Felice will be accompanied by Anna Mitchell on harmonium, piano and vocal harmonies on road-dusted songs of love and death, light and darkness in the Americana mode.
Felice will be showcasing his March album Strangers, as well as digging into a back catalogue that has taken in his drumming days in the blues and country family band The Felice Brothers and his sublime folk and soul in The Duke And The King.
He played The Duchess in York with the Simone Felice Group in September 2012, returning there with Mountain John on bass and Matty Green on mandolin and slide dobro in July last year.
Tickets can be booked on 0871 902 5726 or at thebasementyork.co.uk
