THE York Late Music concert series will present regular participant Ian Pace on August 2 at the Unitarian Chapel, St Saviourgate, York , at 7.30pm.
Pianist Pace will perform the world premieres of three works, Wild Flowers by Edward Caine and Two Studies by Ralph Bateman, along with Michael Parkin’s Piano Sonata, Michael Tippett’s Piano Sonata No 2, Steve Crowther’s Piano Sonata No 2 and John Adams’s Phrygian Gates.
Michael Parkin will be in conversation with fellow composers Edward Caine and Ralph Bateman in a pre-concert talk with a complimentary glass of wine at 6.45pm. Tickets will be on sale on the door.
