YORK Minster will host four summer organ recitals starting on Saturday and ending on August 23.
Internationally acclaimed organist Graham Barber will be first to perform, followed a week later by York minster organist, emeritus John Scott Whiteley, who played in the cathedral from 1975 to 2010.
Peter King, director of music at Bath Abbey, will arrive on August 9, following his tour to the Netherlands.
The current assistant director of music at the Minster, David Pipe, will give his recital on August 16 and the current York Minster director of music, Robert Sharpe, will perform the final recital on August 23.
