TICKETS go on sale tomorrow from 10am for English blues guitarist Robin Trower’s concert at York Barbican on April 8 next year.
Trower came to be known as “the White Hendrix” in the 1970s, his distinctive playing influenced by Jimi’s sound after he heard the Jimi Hendrix Experience in concert.
Trower is noted for “coaxing sounds from his Fender Stratocaster that seem to emanate from beyond this world”.
Tickets cost £22.50 on 0844 854 2757 or at yorkbarbican.co.uk or, looking ahead, £24.50 on the door.
