Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens and Nursery is one of 800 gardens across England and Wales which is opening between 10am and 5pm on Sunday as part of the first National Gardens Festival Weekend.
Set to be the largest garden visiting event in history, the festival, organised by the National Gardens Scheme, aims to raise £500,000 for nursing and caring charities.
Owner Vanessa Cook, whose garden in Stillingfleet, near Selby, has opened under the scheme for many years, said money from the day would also go to local Marie Curie nurses and the church.
Entry to Stillingfleet Lodge gardens is £4.50 for adults, 50p for children aged five to 16. For more information about other gardens open during the National Gardens Festival Weekend, visit ngs.org.uk/festivalmap2013.htm
