The New Inn at Tholthorpe provides high quality and innovative cooking in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Overlooking the village pond, the New Inn offers a focal point for the village while being equally welcoming of visitors from surrounding villages and further a field.

We provide quality cask ales, for which we have been presented the cask marque award. A varied range of fine wines, spirits & soft drinks.

The main menu brings you the best of each season’s dishes, together with the regularly changing specials menu and is available within the bar or the completely refurbished traditional restaurant, which oozes character with it’s exposed brickwork, stone floors and open fireplace.

 

Our mouth-watering dishes offer the best of local produce from Charles Henley of Tholthorpe, Hartley’s Butchers (Tholthorpe) and Dooley’s of Easingwold.

 

Start your meal with our delicious home made breads, baked fresh every morning. Choose from our a la carte menu or specials boards including, Pork & Black pudding in a spicy fruit jam, local field mushroom & chorizo risotto, haddock in Black Sheep beer batter, local spring lamb with pesto mash & spring greens, char grilled Ribeye steak.

Now in our 3rd year within the next few months we will be undergoing a complete refurbishment, from new flooring in the bar, to an area for al fresco dinning at the front.
