TV viewing over Christmas has a distinctly Yorkshire flavour thanks to Jamie Oliver and the monks of Ampleforth Abbey.
Ampleforth Abbey Beer will be featured on Jamie Oliver’s and Jimmy Docherty’s Food Fight Club TV Series on Channel 4.
Recently named Yorkshire’s Best Drink in the Deliciously Yorkshire Awards, Ampleforth Abbey Beer is one of five British beers that Jamie and Jimmy selected to put in competition with Belgian beers in the programme on Thursday, December 27 at 9pm on Channel 4.
Sean McFetrich, of the brewery, said: “It was a tough fight, but we haven’t been voted Yorkshire’s Best Drink for nothing.”
