IN THE run up to the Tour de France Grand Depart in Yorkshire, York’s City Screen will host an evening with the makers of a feature film which tries to capture the essence of the road race.
The David Millar Project is a film about the tour and follows Scottish cyclist and TdF veteran David Millar during the last year.
The documentary director, Finlay Pretsell will be at City Screen cinema in Coney Street, in advance of the Tour, on July 1.
Mr Pretsell, who has cycled for Scotland in the past, said: “I want to create a vivid landscape of sound and image from David’s unique perspective.”
The evening event starts at 6pm and tickets are on sale via the City Screen website.
