SHORTLY after a whole festival in York celebrating the briefer sort of film, City Screen York will show six short films on Thursday at 6.15pm, in conjunction with New British Cinema Quarterly.
Dave Taylor, marketing manager for City Screen, said, “Following in the wake of the superb Aesthetica Short Film Festival, City Screen has a programme which features one of the most humorous films from the festival launch, Long Distance Information, as well as a delightful look at social media starring Dame Judi Dench, Friend Request Pending, and my personal favourite, about a pulp-paperback vigilante, A Gun For George.”
