AN ICONIC piece of artwork by music legend Bob Dylan will soon be on show in a gallery in East Yorkshire.
Train Tracks lays claim to being the most requested and most sought after Dylan image of all time and its limited production has caused a stir in previous years.
This year the image is being released in a set of four colours and The Acorn Gallery, in Pocklington, has been chosen to stock it.
Gallery owner Diane Wass said: “We always do well with Dylan but this is by far the most sought after image and we expect it to be the fastest selling release ever.”
The first release in 2008 now attracts prices way above its initial retail price. Some portfolio sets which originally sold for £5,000 have since changed hands for several times that amount.
Prices for this latest collection start at £2,750 for one piece or £10,500 for a set of four. Pre-orders are being taken ahead of the official release date on Saturday January 28.
