HULL environmental artist Martin Waters has been collecting materials for most of his life, but in the past few years he has made artworks specifically from waste found at Spurn Point.
Hence the title of his latest exhibition at Pocklington Arts Centre: Collections And Assemblages, Created From Spurn Point Found Objects.
Martin is an innovator at the forefront of the artistic movement that fashions works from recycled materials. "The link I'm making with archaeology is the discovering, collecting, recording, arranging, mounting and displaying of found objects," he says.
His show opened this week for a run until February 18.
